We had our very first collaboration with Katie from Pitch Boutique with this fantastic HENFEST photo shoot.
Now great excitement in that one of the UK’s biggest wedding blogs will be featuring this shoot soon so for the time being we can only show you these sneak peak images….! But you’ll get a taste of how superb it was just from these!
In addition to the items we had already made for Pitch Boutique ( see our previous Bell tent styling blog post ) we also made some extra large 65cm cushions!
Photoshoot summary from Katie – Pitch Boutique:
Festival Bride Hen Party Inspiration
At Pitch Boutique we organise alternative hen parties that will be a breath of fresh air for those who hate the idea of an ‘L’ plates hen do with strippers, willy straws and party dares! We worked with an eclectic mix of suppliers to create a festival inspired set for our hens to celebrate in style for a true Festival Bride.
Our brief to all suppliers was focused around HENFEST. This shoot steers away from a traditional bridal shoot, and was all about the girls. The HENFEST theme was inspired by our love of Festivals and hen parties. Bringing two passions together that are perfectly suited for the Festival Bride. Apparently the term ‘henfest’ refers to a rowdy group of women. Whilst we aren’t aiming for rowdy it was definitely a beautiful group of women celebrating in festival style!
We planned this styled HENFEST shoot around the launch of our new business. Hosting it in a garden so the surroundings are realistic to the settings our brides to be will have for their hen parties. Just as we wanted we created a bright and colourful setting, with a party vibe, to recreate that euphoric festival feeling sunglasses on, glitter styling, prosecco in hand and your favourite people around you.. Every angle was covered from festival glamping by Pitch Boutique to festival flags from Event Flag Hire, smoke grenades and much much more.
The incredible artisan florist Passion Flowers by Emma Spowage gave the site a colourful pop, with the stunning ‘flowery balls’, table pieces and flower crowns. Pitch Boutique styled the site, with hand written calligraphy boards from Letter Me Kiki. Giant festival flags from Event Flag Hire and finally the colourful soft furnishings from Lily Mae Designs.
When looking for suppliers for the shoot we certainly knew who we wanted to capture the day. Ella Violet Photography has always inspired us with her natural photography therefore we knew she would fit in perfectly with our festival atmosphere.. It was a very exciting day when she said yes! And finally we got in touch with Caitlin from One Forever Films who agreed to shoot a behind the scenes trailer from the day so all the hard working suppliers are captured in action.
We loved bringing together this quirky styled shoot inspired from our very own HENFEST packages. Head over to our website to bring you’re very own HENFEST to your garden. You provide the location, we bring the creativity.
